Parent's Agreement
NO ‘DROP OFFS’ WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE 2016-2017 SEASON
One of the objects of the Little Athletics movement is to provide children an opportunity to participate in the healthy recreational activities with their parents/guardians – our motto being Family, Fun and Fitness!
It has come to our attention over the past few seasons that some parents/guardians continue to drop their child/ren off at competition on Tuesdays and then leave the grounds, relying on the other parents to supervise their child/ren.
Members of the Milton-Ulladulla Little Athletics Committee, and everyone that assists to run the events during the season, are volunteers. We are parents and grandparents of the children participating in Little Athletics. It is not our responsibility to supervise other peoples’ children. If there is an injury to your child, it is necessary for you as their parent, or nominated guardian, to be immediately available.
Should we find there are children being dropped off without a consenting adult being nominated to take responsibility for them; the child/ren will not be allowed to participate in events and will be instructed to sit on the sidelines and wait until they are collected. This policy operates at many other Little Athletics clubs around the country, and will be enforced during the 2016-2017 season.
