Milton Ulladulla Little Athletics

The weekly meeting uniform is a white t-shirt with provided patches attached and black shorts. If you intend to attend carnivals you will be required to wear the club uniform of black/white singlet and plain black shorts. Singlets are $30 and Caps are $15.

All athletes from tiny tots to seniors are expected to be in full club uniform when competing at Official Athletics Carnivals. This season we encourage you to wear the official uniform during weekly training sessions but a white t-shirt and black shorts are fine.White t-shirts need to have patches attached for validation of insurance for each athlete.

The shorts are available from Sports Power in Ulladulla. Prices may vary during the season depending on cost variances from suppliers.

Placement of Patches

Registration numbers should be attached to the front so as to be seen at all times (even when shirt is tucked in) with the red boarder visible.

Age Number to be attached to top left side of shirt (just below shoulder).

Jetstar patch needs to be attached on the right side of shirt (just below shoulder).

Clothing & Shoe Pool

The club will run a clothing, shoe and equipment pool in the first weeks of the season. If you have any items for sale please mark items clearly with your name and sale price and give to a committee member.

Shoes & Spikes

Shoes must be worn at all times during competition. These can be basic running shoes, waffles or spikes in certain races and events.

Spikes may be worn at Centre level in the U11 to U15 age groups.

    Spikes must be no longer than 7mm (synthetic track)
    Spikes must be no longer than 9mm (synthetic field)
    Spikes must be no longer than 12mm (grass - track or field) Spikes must be carried onto the track and to field event areas and removed "immediately" at the finish of the event. Spiked shoes should be safely stored in a suitable bag when not in use.

Family, Fun & Fitness

Little Athletics  is a uniquely Australian sport for children aged 5-16 years. It is based upon the sport of athletics (track and field) and the events are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. A wide range of running, jumping, throwing and walking events is conducted.

Little Athletics recognises that children vary widely in shape, size and athletic ability, and is thus one of few sports that successfully caters for them all.

It's not really about winning, but about having fun, making friends and getting families involved in healthy activities. The emphasis is placed on participation and personal improvement. It is little surprise then, that the motto of Little Athletics is: "Family, Fun and Fitness".
